The Takane movements have a traditional Westminster chime with a partial melody on the quarter hour, and full melody and an hour count on the hour.

This quad chime quartz clock movement marks the hour, it triggers a separate chime box to play one of four melodies: Fur Elise, Hour strike, Westminster, or Westminster with hour strike. The lead wires allow for optimal placement of chime box and speaker. Also features an automatic night silencer that silences the chimes between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. Thread length is 15mm and requires 3 x AA batteries (not included)
