The process in more detail
Finding your product.
All of the products are gathered together in categories eg, Quartz Movements, Calendar Movements etc. Some of these categories have sub categories also. For example Quartz Movements, has sub categories of Slimline Movments, Pendulum Movements, Chiming Westminister Movements, High Torque Movements etc. Put you mouse over the buttons in the navigation on the left hand side to see the categories, move the mouse over the category to want and click the mouse. You will be taken to a page that shows all of the products in that category
Like in the example above, you click onto the 'Buy Now' Button. You will then be taken to a detail page so that you can get more information on the products. This Step is vital as alot of our products have a few different options to choose from eg size and colour. These option are presented on the details page.

One very important fact to remember is that you have to enter a quantity of the product you wish to order and then click onto the 'Add to your shopping Cart' button. That just adds the quantity on the products you have chosen in the shopping cart. When you click the "Add to your Shopping Cart' anew little window will open on the right hand side. It is a summary of what you have in your shopping cart. Every time you add more products, the "Mini Shopping Cart' will be updated. From the mini cart go back to the product to order more, remove a single entry or you can clear teh whole cart and start again. You can also go directly to the checkout page if you are happy with your selections.
(Please note: some of our products have free items that go with them, eg hands and numerals. These products are some of the Quatz movements. When you click the add to cart button on these products, you will be automatically taken to the next page so that you don't miss the free items) You are entitled to one set of hands and numerals for each movement, - some categories only).
Once you have all of you products in the shopping cart you are ready to go to the checkout. You can click the 'Go to checkout now' button wherever you see it. If you have checked you items in the 'mini shopping cart' then click the checkout button and you will be taken to the checkout page.
The checkout page is where you add your details (if you are a new customer) or your existing details if you have shopped with us before. This is also where you choose how you want to pay for the products, either by credit card, send a cheque or do a bank deposit.
If you have shopped with us before you may have a username and password already. You can click the 'Log In" button. You will be taken to a page where you enter in your username and password. That way the system knows what your details are and saves you having to reenter them. We need to know certain details about you so that we know where to send your products to.
(Please note: you DO NOT have to become a member of our online store. Is just helps the next time you would like to purchase something. If you enter your username and password, all of the address details will be automatically filled in so you don't have to type them in again. You are still able to purchase without becoming a member).
If you are a new customer, simply fill in the form with your details and click the 'Submit button'.
The next step is the payment process. All of these pages including the page you enter your details onto are secure and you will see the padlock on the top or bottom of the screen (depending on which browser you are using eg Internet Explorer or Firefox etc)
First simply choose which payment method you would like to use, eg Credit card, bank deposit or by cheque. Make a choice and click the 'Continue' button.
The next screen gives you the opportunity to check the details that are in the system and if you are paying by credit card, you enter those details here. This payment method is a manual process. The funds are not cleared by the bank straightaway. The credit card number is entered manually into our efpos terminal. If the transaction is approved, the amount is debited from your card and we will send you the goods.
The credit card details are not stored or kept, after the transaction is approved.
This payment page also shows you again what you are buying in the shoopping cart details.
If you pay by cheque or bank deposit, we need to see that that funds have cleared before we can send you the products ordered.
Once the payment details have been entered you need to click the 'Submit Payment' button.
Thats it. The transaction is finished. You will receive a email receipt and we will send you the goods. |
